A Great Year Round

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it.

Every New Year people make resolutions to change aspects of them.
A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures.
Many believe that New Year is a great time to start a new life that’s why “new year resolutions are made.

But my beliefs have change in my own experiences in my life. Every time year ends I started to reminisce the hours, days, and months of my year and be thankful for all the things that happened to me whether it’s good or bad, because my mom told me that everything happen has its own reason.

Since I was a child I start to live in very simple yet happy life with my traditional and complete family, no extensions and whatsoever. And I think that was one of the great things I have in my life. Then I've met Andy my partner in everything and I think he's almost perfect not exactly, but he always treat me that I am the most beautiful girl in the world. I feel so blessed having my family and my partner. I love them the most.

When I graduated in college I am very thankful having a job and I know this will benefit my family a lot and it really helps. My first and probably my last job was such a huge help for what I become right now. It was my training ground and I really appreciate it.

But as time pass me by without a job while managing and enjoying my small business. I’m starting to think that leaving my job was one of the best things that happened to me in a long time, I can’t believe I’m saying this… because everything is so much simpler and clearer now. I don’t have to worry and be stressed about my clients or my performance at work. No more brown-nosing like a dog to a boss who works a fraction of the hours. No more drama every time my boss nags me or my officemates gossip about me. I do and earn two times as much. Now that I’m not constantly preoccupied and stressed by work, I’m happy and it’s for real. I feel like myself again. I actually have time to think about everything and what I really want to do with my life.

Every time the year ends I don’t really list down any New Year resolutions, because I do set goals even if it’s not New Year. And I am looking forward optimistically for a great year round.

Because life doesn’t have to be complicated but still we have to keep going and move forward for a better life or should I say a happy life, because it is not only the destination that matters but also its own journey.
For our life is a big canvass and we should throw all the paint on it, what colours will I choose to paint in my canvass? Only I myself can answer.

A Parent's Love... A Parent's Wish....

A parent’s love is something that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish, and enduring come what may,
For nothing can destroys it or take that love away.

Parents make great sacrifices for the care of their children.
Day after day, parents protect their children from danger,
attend to their cries, and reassure them after a bad dream.
Parents give up necessities for their children every day.

It is patience and forgiving while others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking
It believes beyond believing when world around condemns
And it glows among the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation,

And it still remain a secret, like the mystery of creation,
A many splendored miracle man cannot understand,
And Special Wondrous evidence of Life’s tender guiding hand.

A video clip that touches my heart…
An open letter from parents to their children

I cried looking back at all the people that was so dear to me.
It is an excellent reminder to everyone, children, grandchildren and grand-grand children. It’s all about life, love, care and understanding of our elders especially when they are growing old.

So I decided to shared this with my blog and social networking site and believe the young should realize that they also will be old one day. I extent a little effort to retype the letter you can read it below ;)

A JAUNT IN CEBU

When I heard about Cebu, different stuff comes in my mind, my favorite Shamrock Otap which is best match of black coffee, Dried Pusit (Squid) yummy when you dipped it in vinegar with pepper and garlic in addition one of my favorite getaways the beaches hmmn… I can’t smell the aquatic aroma.

Andy and I have been invited to visit his uncle’s house at Barili Cebu to celebrate their town fiesta and also to meet his relatives. So without a doubt, we don’t say no and hurriedly book for a roundtrip flight. We buy a Map of Cebu City wherein we can find tourist spots to leisurely walk. We were so excited because it was our first time to take a trip and visit Cebu together.
I really enjoy the one hour stay at the airplane as sightseeing the view from the window down below at the same time taking snapshots using my Olympus digital camera. I don’t use my DSLR for some reason.
We were thrilled since it was our first time to travel on a plane. When we reached the Airport in Mactan Cebu, we have to hang around for Andy’s uncle to go along with us to his house. While waiting for him were feeling quite hungry so we decided to have a lunch at the restaurant inside the airport.

When we reached in uncle’s house, a minute of talk while eating our dinner with his uncle and auntie, feeling so tired on our journey so we decided to take a rest the whole night to be ready for the next day intended for our trip to Cebu City.

As we wake up early in the morning, we quickly fix our self to get ready for our leisure walk. Our first stuff is the Cebu Taoist Temple located in Beverly Hills Subdivision in Cebu City. The temple was built by Cebu's substantial Chinese community. With an elevation of 300 meters above sea level, the temple is a towering, multi-tiered, multi-hued attraction accessible by three separate winding routes. Unlike the neighboring Phu Sian Temple, the Taoist temple is open to the worshipers and non-worshipers alike, that why we don’t visit the Phu Sian Temple in respect for their beliefs.

Next stuff The Minor Basilica of the Santo Niño or Basilica Minore del Santo Niño it is a 16th century church in Cebu City in the Philippines. It was built purportedly on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño, a sculpture depicting the Holy Child Jesus found by Spanish explorers in 1565 preserved in a burned wooden box which was left behind during the 1521 Magellan expedition. Afterward we go to the sidewalk of the Church which I bought some of my pasalubong like purse, bracelets, key-chains and a Sto. Nino de Cebu stature for my Nanay.
As we take a minute step near the cathedral is the famous Magellan’s Cross. Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521.
While enjoying our stroll holding the Cebu City Map, we reached the Fort San Pedro Historical Park also known as Fuerza de San Pedro, a military defence structure, built by Spanish and indigenous Cebuano labourers under the command of Spanish conquistador, Miguel López de Legazpi and the Spanish Government in Cebu. It is located in the area now called Plaza Indepedencia, in the Pier Area of Cebu City, Philippines.
After a half day strolling in the city. We ate our lunch at the mall near the bus station. Two hours bus ride to get through uncle’s house. As we reached the house to take pleasure in the extra time left for the day, Andy and I both decide to go to the beach downhill. A fifteen minute walk downhill to reach the beach and I could say it is worth it. While enjoying the sea-nery (scenery) with my hubhub Andy, we sat on the sand watching the sea-water flaps on the shore while enjoying playing with the hermit crabs or “umang” in tagalong term.

As we get more cherished staying in the seashore I wrote “I love you” in the sand and I am surprised that the sea answers me, call me foolish but it was my interpretation, the water flaps on my feet with those stones that really amazed me because it was in letter form so I pick them up and bring together it to “I love you”. Then I saw a heart shape stone so I hunt letters of my nickname Melai and my hubbie’s nick Andy, luckily I found them completely and put it on Andy’s pocket. It is a nice souvenir from the ocean.
On the next day, early in the morning “Fiesta” they are busy preparing for foodstuff. I saw these pigs possibly they are the cuisine. Afterward we go to the shore to see what it looks like if it is not on the high tide, another great day to spot different living species in the sea, they are stranded from the previous elevated tide; we spot a small starfish, and different kinds of fish and other existing species stranded on the shore. Along the way we notice a black dog, looks familiar, it’s “blackie” doggie of Andy’s uncle. Blackie also visit the beach but probably not to take snapshot in the stranded fishes but to have them for his breakfast, fiercest dog on the shore. After a half day of stay on the beach going uphill again to have our lunch it’s Fiesta so a lot of food is ready now. *Munchmunch.
After our lunch we decide to visit the falls near uncle’s house it was about 15 minutes trip on a motorcycle to dig up Mantayupan Waterfalls. This was Andy’s first time to see Waterfalls. We really had fun go for a dip on the said waterfall, I was tell by Andy’s cousin that the falls is very valuable to them for because instead of the tourist spot and a great getaway in their town, it also used as a irrigation for their electricity and a lot farm industry over the town. Nearby the fall is the Ambakan Cave where in you can experience a cool atmosphere invigorate inside the cave.
Next morning, it was our last day on Cebu and sure we had a great experience during the past few days, but Andy’s consider that we ought to visit the beach resorts in Mactan Island where the foreign tourist go. So we without delay we call the “Lowaii’s” resort, an affordable resort in Mactan Island to hang around for the whole day before we head into our flight at exactly 9:45 in the evening on the same day. I like the place since it was really a stress-free to stay and given that it was not a peak season, the people stay at the resort are few, a great place to unwind. 5 oclock our check out time at the resort we both decide to go to pasalubong center to buy some pasalubong for our friends and family. Then stroll nearby the center before eating our dinner, then after dinner we head in to the airport to check in 2 hours before our flight.
It was a great experience and the place are really great but I think it was not just the place made the trip special. ;)

JEJEMON (Nag-level up na!)

It’s been a while since I wrote a blog about “jejemon” invasion

Extinction Started on a Text messages, Friendster, then facebook and now they are invading over the Television, radio, and in all places. Who doesn’t know the word “Jejemon’?

After a long argument about this Jejemon Fad, I could say that jejemon have leveled up and reached their recognition a success. Not even a typhoon can stop the jejemon, a person who likes to deliberately exaggerate a word's spelling in text messaging and social networks. Despite being bashed by the grammar police, he certainly had the last laugh, or should we say, "ajejeje."
As they reached fame besting 9 other finalists, jejemon was chosen as Salita ng Taon (Word of the Year) in this year's Sawikaan 2010 organized by the Filipinas Institute of Translation Inc. (FIT). The academic conference was held in the University of the Philippines from July 29 to 30. Closely running second in the Sawikaan 2010 was Ondoy, an adjective referring to a typhoon with the same name which hit Metro Manila late last year. Other finalists include those that have been used by Filipinos in the past 2 years such as: Unli, Load, Solb, Emo, Ampatuan, Spam, Tarpo, Namumutbol. In the last Sawikaan held in 2007, the Word of the Year was miskol, a Tagalog term for "missed call," or a call that was not answered. No words made it as Word of the Year in 2008 and 2009, since Sawikaan organizers felt there was no new word deserving of the title.

Song intended for them also hits the radio. From my favorite hot girl group Mocha Girls Song title’s “Wag Kang Jejemon (Don’t Be A Jejemon)”, a hip-hoppy song about the Jejemon’s ways. The song is already playing in several radio stations in the country.

Not only on the radio because if you will try to watch the television jejemon word is always has the scene even there fashion statement.
And now there will be an upcoming situational comedy that is produced by GMA Network, starring Eugene Domingo, Wendell Ramos, Jennica Garcia and Gelli de Belen its called JejeMom (Jejemon Mother)

Jejemon also become a hot topic in the “saksi” primetime news on GMA Network.
And featured on “Jessica Soho Reports”

And guess what? hahaha... someone manage to own a jejestore it’s called “Jejemon Store” where you can buy jejecaps, jejeshirts, jejebracelets, jejeshoes and other jeje apparels.

Try to visit their site http://www.jejemonstore.com/

It’s interesting that Jejemons are typically being discriminated in Philippine culture and yet Jejemon invades. Its a FAD... a funny one *jejeje

As I say on my previous blog
http://blogniborontok.blogspot.com/2010/04/jejemon-invasion.html

I don't like them nor hate them. But I think jejemon was just a fad. We don't have to discriminate or give pessimistic comments about them. They have their own life and sure we have our own. And it's our choice if we want to be with them or just let them exist or hate them. But the bottom line is why are so many Filipino affected with this fad to the point of blogging something awful about our country's education, in our country's people. May be for you they are nonsense but they are who they are. Accept the fact. As Rain Bojangles says, “If they can't swallow facts, let them eat fiction.”

Mother's Day

happy mother's day to my NANAY ;P
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.

Mother's Day is celebrated to honor all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they bear in bringing up a child. Most countries including US, Australia, Canada and India celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May. Mothers Day came into being due to the efforts made by Ms Julia Ward Howe and Ms Anna Jarvis. The Resolution for having a dedicated Mother's Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8, 1914. Since then people across the world have been celebrating Mothers Day with joy and devotion.

Contrary to popular belief, Mother's Day was not conceived and fine-tuned in the boardroom of Hallmark. The earliest tributes to mothers date back to the annual spring festival the Greeks dedicated to Rhea, the mother of many deities, and to the offerings ancient Romans made to their Great Mother of Gods, Cybele. Christians celebrated this festival on the fourth Sunday in Lent in honor of Mary, mother of Christ. In England this holiday was expanded to include all mothers and was called Mothering Sunday.

In the United States, Mother's Day started nearly 150 years ago, when Anna Jarvis, an Appalachian homemaker, organized a day to raise awareness of poor health conditions in her community, a cause she believed would be best advocated by mothers. She called it "Mother's Work Day."

Thank you mom for everything that you have
done and keeping doing for me. Thank you
God for having you as part of my life, you have
taught me many good things, today what i have become it's because of you.

JEJEMON Invasion

“JEJEMON” I don't like them nor hate them. But I think jejemon was just a fad. We don't have to discriminate or give pessimistic comments about them. They have their own life and sure we have our own. And it's our choice if we want to be with them or just let them exist or hate them. May be for you they are nonsense but they are who they are. Accept the fact. As Rain Bojangles says, “If they can't swallow facts, let them eat fiction.”
The definition I search over the internet to clear my mind from that jejemon invasion

A. "Jejemon" is an example of a coined word which does not contain a clear meaning in the Filipino language. An expression that anyone can use as statement filler. This can be considered as an emerging pop culture with regard to language development and dynamicity. This is also what we call the Popularly Modernized Language (PML)" which is in existence and could die easily if no one will use it.
Christian George C. Francisco
Associate Professor 3, DLSU-D

B.1) Usually seen around social networking sites such as Friendster and Multiply, jejemons are individuals with low IQs who spread around their idiocy on the web by tYpFing LyK diZS jejejeje, making all people viewing their profile raise their eyebrows out of annoyance. Normal people like you and me must take a Bachelor of Arts in Jejetyping in order to understand said individuals, as deciphering their text would cause a lot of frustration and hair pulling.

CAUTION: THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE BREEDING! THEY CAN BE SEEN WRECKING GRAMMATICAL HAVOC ON FACEBOOK TOO!

2) Jejemons are not just confined to trying-hard Filipino gangsters and emos. A Jejemon can also include a variety of Latino-Hispanic fags who enjoy typing "jejejejeje" in a wider context, much to the disdain of their opponents in an internet MMORPG game such as Ragnarok and DOTA.

why i always feel i'm taking for granted... eversince i live my life

We are all taken for granted once in a while. And sometimes we don't even mind it, if it is done by someone whom we love and is really close to us. But if it is a regular thing that keeps on repeating itself, it surly hurts and irritates. This world is full of people who are complaining about been taken for granted by their bosses, colleagues, spouse, friends, brother and sisters and even by their own children. They hate it, but never really are able to change it.

If observed carefully, one can easily see that these people are nice and decent; In fact at times too nice and decent. They are soft spoken, willing to please, helpful, sincere and hardworking. In general other people like them and even praise them, behind their back. But they some how never manage to get the type of recognition and reward from where it really matters.

A lady, who loves her husband and children, works hard the entire day, takes best care of them, is an ideal wife and mother in the eyes of entire neighborhood never gets so much as a simple thank you from her husband and children. They may say they love her but never really appreciate the effort she makes. An employee who is loyal, talented, works hard and at times even pulls the impossible, is lauded by some of the colleagues, but does not seem to get the promotion. It is someone else who gets the raise and promotion and soon the person in question finds himself or herself working under a person who is nearly half of him or her in qualification, experience and talent, and even whose loyalty is questionable.

Does it seem your story or someone whom you know? Isn't it too common? The answer probably will be 'Yes.' Now, you may ask, that why is it that a few get all the recognition and reward, even though they do not deserve. But then most others are taken for granted, in one way or other? Can this be changed? If yes, then how?

It is often not important what we do, but how we do it that catches people's attention. Here are few of-beat strategies that can make people recognize your efforts. They almost always work for me and they will do for you as well.

Work smart not hard: Do you slog away when others are enjoying themselves, whether at home or at office? Does everyone know that you will do everything if they don't do it? You got to change that. Call others and give them responsibilities and deadlines. Keep following up and ask them about progress. Demand explanation for non-compliance. Act bossy if required, and see the difference in just a few days. People may not like you for this in the beginning but they will soon start showing respect and stop taking you for granted.

Promote yourself: How will everyone know how hard you work and what are your achievements if you don't promote yourself. You do not have to hire an advertising agency, but present your achievements in front of those who really matter. Tell your family members about the great job that you have done for them. After every achievement, tell your bosses what you have done, either verbally or by submitting a report. If you think action and results speaks louder than words, you are mistaken. No one is observing performing all that action, and there are many others waiting to steal your credit away from you.

Don't just help but oblige: It is good to help other people. Unfortunately in today's world people take your goodness for guaranteed and start taking advantage of it. So, help people but show as if you are doing it as a favour and making an exception. Make them feel obliged and indebted to you. People may call you a snob, but let them. It is much better than been taken for granted.

Be assertive and stubborn to prove a point: People who are not able to speak their mind out clearly and forcefully are always taken for guaranteed. Be assertive when putting forth your opinion and point of view. Listen to others and pretend as if you do not understand what they are saying, and keep repeating your point. People may call you stupid but they will take you much more seriously.

Be aggressive & passionate: By asking you to be aggressive I am not asking you to fight with people. But, set aggressive goals, work aggressively and passionately. Aggressive attitude to a certain level creates positive energy that other people feel. And this energy helps people to recognize you and your work.

Develop some nuisance value: It is always not nice to be nice. Let people know that you too can get upset and can call a spade a spade. Be polite, tactful and diplomatic but speak out your mind. Tell people clearly what you feel. They will never take your feelings and emotions for granted.

Be growing and ready to move on: Obviously everyone will take you for granted if they develop a feeling that you are stuck with them and you are not going anywhere. So, keep growing. Make continuous improvement in yourself. Develop better attitude, work on your self image, and add value to your skills and qualifications. Show the preparedness to move on and see the people's attitude towards yourself change.

After word: All this that I told you above may not come to you very naturally at first. But still make conscious efforts for sometime till it becomes your second nature. However, it does not mean that you will employ these strategies indiscriminately. These strategies are like medicine and must be used only if the symptoms exist.

Moreover, you need to continuously work on improving your self image. People taking you for granted, your lack of assertiveness, being meek, doing all the work by yourself, people not taking you seriously etc. are usually manifestation of poor self image. Once you attain a healthy self image, you will no longer need to consciously employ any strategies for getting recognition, but you will get it automatically.

Happiness vs. Contentment

Although the two words mean the same thing, I am using them to describe two different types of good feeling

Happiness is something that comes and goes. It is about excitement, fun, moments, actions, and material things. Contentment is something that lasts. It's about going with the flow, enjoying the satisfaction of work, and appreciating nature and life. Selfish people tend to strive for happiness and are less content. People who strive to be content tend to be more patient, caring, and happier. You can find happiness in money, pleasure, and doing what you want. You can find contentment in religion, family, giving, making other people happy, hard work, education, and exercise. Also, when you are content, your happy times are happier and your sadness is less sad. Self-indulgence makes you happy. Sacrifice makes you content.

A less obvious way of becoming content is your environment. Try to avoid negative people, depressing music, staying indoors too long, not getting enough sleep. All these things can make a person unhealthy and depressed. One thing that I have experienced personaly is the color of your walls. Darker wall colors make a person less content. I suggest white walls with a colorful trim. Watch less tv. All that violence and apathy really tick at a person's mind.

You may not see the difference between contentment and happiness, or you may think the ways of becoming content are stupid. I'm not demanding that you paint your house, stop watching tv, go outside more, read more, and go to church. You may not even notice a difference if you do. But I am suggesting these things, because believe it or not they really do make a difference.

Photographer? Hobbyist or Professional?

I wonder why some hate those people who have DSLR. I agree that being a photographer is really a great profession and it takes a lot of training, seminar and education being like a pro. I enjoy reading over the internet EBooks, blog, forum, journals, etc. I am one of those amateur who they called trying hard being a photographer. And I think there’s nothing wrong with that. And the fact that I enjoy having a DSLR, take pleasure in being a jpeg juggler and taking pictures is all that matters to me.
Hope this little information from www.Wikipedia.com makes it understandable over those pessimistic comments and suggestions.
Wikipedia:
A photographer is a person who takes photographs using a camera. A professional photographer uses photography to earn money whilst amateur photographers take photographs for pleasure and to record an event, emotion, place or person.
A professional photographer may be an employee, for example of a newspaper, or may contract to cover a particular event such as a wedding or graduation, or to illustrate an advertisement. Others, including paparazzi and fine art photographers, are freelancers, first making a picture and then offering it for sale or display. Some workers, such as policemen, estate agents, journalists and scientists, make photographs as part of other work. Photographers who produce moving rather than still pictures are often called cinematographers, videographers or camera operators, depending on the commercial context.
You can search it with yourself and read more information.
Professional
- is someone who claims 51% of their income from photo, doesn't mean they're any good or not just in business of selling their professional services. I think that's crap though, I judge it by quality of work.

Hobbyists
- is someone who do photography because they enjoy it and don't really have any aspirations of going into business, so the fact that they love it is all that matters.
You’re lucky enough if you’re doing it together.
Note: Read… Feed your mind (peace out) :p

as long as you enjoy in taking photos
doesn't matter whether your amateur, hobbyist or a pro.

You can be happy in everything you do as long

Danger in loving somebody too much...

to fall in love is easy,
to stay in love is a challenge,
breaking up is disaster,
moving on is HELL.

The song tells us how does it feel to have a broken heart.
Its so hard to move on.
Everyday is agony.
Every night you are wishing not to wake up the following morning
because another morning means another survival.
Yes, it's a blessing to fall in love but when the love fails,
it's really hard to let go and move on.
Once you love deeply and truly,
your making that person not only a part of your life,
he/she becomes your life actually.
Hence, moving on is almost impossible.
Your mind says "you can do it, move on",
but how could you when your heart is in so much pain.
You keep on asking yourself,
"where will I start and how am I going to do it when everything I see, touch and hear reminds me of how beautiful the love was"?.

Lyrics
Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough Lyrics
Patti Smith

Now, I don't want to lose you
but I don't want to use you
just to have somebody by my side.
And I don't want to hate you,
I don't want to take you
but I don't want to be the one to cry.

And that don't really matter to anyone anymore.
But like a fool I keep losing my place
and I keep seeing you walk through that door.

(Chorus)

But there's a danger in loving somebody too much,
and it's sad when you know it's your heart you can't trust.
There's a reason why people don't stay where they are.
Baby, sometimes, love just aint enough.

Now, I could never change you
I don't want to blame you.
Baby, you don't have to take the fall.
Yes, I may have hurt you, but I did not desert you.
Maybe I just want to have it all.

It makes a sound like thunder
it makes me feel like rain.
And like a fool who will never see the truth,
I keep thinking something's gonna change.

(Chorus)

And there's no way home
when it's late at night and you're all alone.
Are there things that you wanted to say?
And do you feel me beside you in your bed,
there beside you, where I used to lay?

And there's a danger in loving somebody too much,
and it's sad when you know it's your heart they can't touch.
There's a reason why people don't stay who they are.
Baby, sometimes, love just ain't enough.

Baby, sometimes, love... it just ain't enough.
Oh, Oh, Oh, No

What about LIFE...

On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.." The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?" So God agreed......

On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span." The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?" And God agreed......

On the third day, God created the cow and said, "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years." The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?" And God agreed again......

On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years." But the human said, "Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?"

"Okay," said God. "You asked for it." So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone. Life has now been explained to you..

Few people are aware of the fact that luck can be attracted by themselves. You will be amazed to see how much your life will improve if you believe in yourself.

To improve your personal life you should communicate more with people. Be caring and friendly. People will appreciate this and you will be able to make more friends. This can even help you have more luck in love. For example if you would like to ask a woman for a date you should believe that she will say yes.

Do some simple exercises every morning. Repeat with loud voice that you are going to have a great day. Think at everything you have to do that day and try to see yourself succeeding to achieve all the daily goals. Remember that it’s important to really believe that you can do everything you want.

To get more luck you need to see even the bad things as a chance to learn how to achieve happiness and success. May be things are better this way. Imagine that your relationship comes to an end. This can be a positive thing because you have the chance to learn from your failure.

Use your hobbies to help you keep your positive attitude. For example if you just had some bad news and you are sad try to listen to some happy music or watch a comedy. If you love sport you can do some exercises. The important thing is to make those sad feelings go away.

Many people think that luck comes from another source. In fact you can create your own luck. Picture yourself succeeding and you can improve your life. Go on, give it a go!

Make LOVE on Valentines Day

Sometimes we make love with our eyes.
Sometimes we make love with our hands.
Sometimes we make love with our bodies.
Always we make love with our hearts.

"making love" is a combination of foreplay, intercourse and intimacy. When an individual "makes love" they express their feelings on a deeper level. People who love each other often have this in their relationship. They desire to express their deepest adoration for a one another this way. Sometimes it doesn't lead to sex. It could be small things like giving someone a massage or rubbing their feet. Making love is unique and special.

Happy Heart's Day! <3

Valentine
Songwriters: Brickman, Jim; Kugell, Jack David;

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

All of my life
I have been waiting for
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And showed me how to love unselfishly

I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my Valentine

6 Personality traits to admire and acquire

In life, we come across all kinds! As humans, we often focus on those who are negative or toxic leaving it difficult to appreciate those who are positive and healthy. Seeking out individuals with healthy, positive traits, however, may do a lot of good. The more we can surround ourselves with those who are positive and healthy, the more we may model those positive behaviors.

If you really think about it, once in awhile you come across a person who knocks you off your socks…legitimately. Maybe they have a fantastic outlook on life, even during difficult times. Maybe they are really humble, although they are extremely gifted. Maybe they make you feel special. All of these are good.

Below, I've listed some of the traits I admire most in people. Although I could probably list a dozen characteristics, I thought I’d list those that seem to be the rarest or most difficult to find.

1.
Selflessness: In a world where many people don’t have the time or the interest in others, selflessness is a quality that seems to be less and less common. People can be selfless in the time they give, the ability to listen, their level of patience and the love that they give. Those who are giving and generous in nature have the power to make others feel loved, appreciated and special. While those who are self-absorbed tend to do the exact opposite.

2.
Tolerance: Those people who are tolerant make us feel comfortable with who we are and special as individuals. All of us are different, and many of us have quirks and idiosyncrasies. After all, these differences make the world go round. Having the ability to accept people for who they are and not expect them to be who we want them to be is important in life, happiness and in the health of our relationships.

3.
Genuineness: Having the ability to be real, authentic and honest is unique in a world where we put so much emphasis on the superficial. Feeling comfortable in one’s skin and being true to one’s self is one of the most beautiful traits one can possess. To have a REAL relationship with someone requires honesty…it requires hearing and giving input or feedback that may not always be popular…it means having the strength to tell it like it is and to not be afraid to face the consequences for doing so…it means loving people for who they really are…deep down…and not for what they appear to be.

4.
Sensitivity: So often we are focused on what is important to ourselves that we can forget about those around us. Those who are sensitive are often thoughtful, appreciative and loving, in a way that makes you feel understood, valued and respected. Often, sensitive people are also self-aware, making them mindful of how they impact others with what they do and say.

5.

Integrity: Call me cynical, but I think this characteristic is especially difficult to find. In a time when people will do things that are underhanded to make an extra buck (Bernie Madoff…can you hear me?), expose their personal lives to the public so they can be famous (balloon boy’s dad and any other reality TV mongers) and do what feels good in the moment without necessarily thinking of the consequences (Tiger Woods), integrity is a characteristic that is especially unique today.

6.
Humility: Whether someone is super-smart, extremely talented or drop-dead gorgeous, there is something extra special about them if they don’t come across as though they know it all the time. Humility in those that possess extraordinary traits make others feel special too.
