On my first trimester, People won’t notice that I am pregnant but I noticed some of the common signs of early pregnancy; nausea, tender nipples and breast, fatigue and frequent urination. In this week’s I start a healthy lifestyle right away. I stop drinking coffee and soft drinks. Due to nausea, I’m beginning to hate foods because whenever I eat something in just a minute I vomit it all, the reason why I lose a little weight in this stage of my pregnancy. On my first week my husband comes with me to seek prenatal care and check-up from an OB-GYNE and this was the time I started taking prenatal vitamins and supplements. I underwent Laboratory test and Trans-B ultrasound wherein I and my husband saw my Baby for the first time. He was a cute little fetus and we don’t know the gender yet.
Nausea & headache is a terrible one, then dizziness yet you want to look good and feel good. I'm losing my appetite. maybe one of the reason I'm skinnier than before; good thing I had prenatal vitamins, milk and healthy food..
I'm getting skinny but my breast is fuller than before, I can't even wear my old undies.
Our little angel's first picture. In his 10th week. We don't know the gender yet. but we are glad to know that the heartbeat is normal and the baby is healthy.
. So in-love with the precious life I'm carrying inside of me... Going through a series of changes physically and emotionally, there so much learning to take place It's been 8 months since I stride in this exciting journey of pregnancy. Mystery, sensuality, wonder and delight, I’m expecting! I should be.
Pregnancy isn’t all about nausea and medical test; it is also the time of excitement, anticipation and above all…. Joy. Prenatal diet, exercise regimen, plan the birth and trust my instinct, my body and my mom to guide me through the amazing miraculous process of pregnancy and childbirth.
My husband and I named our First Baby as Francisco Jace, having this little angel, our first baby and the fact that we’re from a long term engagement makes us more proud and excited. He is the living proof of the loved my husband and I shared
Year 2003 when I graduated college,I don't have anything except myself, my families support, my nokia 3310 cell-phone my extraordinary confidence and my faith. I can't forget the day when I've got my first job interview. Q: where do you see yourself 5 years from now? A: I see myself 5 years from now having my own small business. Q: what type of business is it? A: I see our country getting hook up in our evolving world of technology so I guess I will start an Internet Cafe. He laughs.. Then told me that "If you’re going to dream, it must be big or bigger" (he is being rude)it was the words comes in my mind... then I suddenly think that it’s me being rude telling that I want my own company while I am still applying for a job and I forgot I am talking to the boss. But when I finally land a job, I start doing my thing for our company at the same time self-studying some basic techniques about computers, I am determined and I want to pursue my dream. *fierce huh?
As years past by.. Improving myself and contributing what I can to our office while helping out my family was my daily routine and goal. then, finally After 2 years of perspiration in my job and a little help from my relatives, I enter the Internet Café business, though I don’t have enough finances, Then found something that some internet café are losing. I believe that Internet café was not just for gaming or for fun, but it can also help our community. After trapping some ideas and a research from other internet café. I add some spice in my Icafe, services that community needs, e.g. printing services, research, computer repair etc. having a quite long journey as an Icafe owner, I encounter a lot of obstacle one is a conflict with my job. after almost five years of service.. I decided to leave my job and finally focus on my own. I used to be a top internet café in our area but as time flies, internet café turn out to be like a mushroom that scattered almost everywhere. competition, price war and everything, but I still stick into it. This is all I started and I am not going to quit. This was the time I remember one person asked me about my internet café. "what If internet café was turn out to be just like sari-sari store that scattered almost everywhere?". I just have the same thought before I started it. And the message I get from my boss suddenly come in my mind. "If you’re going to dream, it must be big or bigger". So I work hard each day to pursue something, something.. I cannot tell for now. Because I am still working and planning. As of now I still take pleasure managing my small internet café business while working for ‘something’ that I hope can benefit me, my lover and my family someday.
I just want to take it one step at a time to avoid confusion. Though I am a person who is contented enough but it doesn’t mean I don’t have a bigger dream; you can laugh and say I am not ambitious. But I just like a life that is simple and has a routine. In my life I just need a little bit of happiness and I will be satisfied.
When I graduated in college all I have was myself, my families support, a nokia 3310 cell-phone, my confident and faith.. Now I have my business, a few assets, a bank account and a little investment, my confident and faith and still my family is always there for me. I know I can do more. So I must keep on fighting and doing. It’s never too late to dream and set some goals. If I will fail I will.. but if I will win, I will. ;) Because in our life there’s no such thing as mistake only lessons learned.
“PALABUNUTAN” (Ducks and Chicken Trading Philippines)
Philippines are such a great place wherein you were able to celebrate a lot of Holidays in different parts of our country. Since my childhood I enjoy Fiesta celebration a lot, for this occasion provide us a carnival, toy bazaar stage performances and the so called "Palabunutan"(to pick or to draw) wherein you just have to get a paper out of the box and put it in water to let you know you win over the game... and the price with this? Those baby ducks or chickens with different colour... Imagine how they suffer to put in the tub just to have colour and look great to attract kids. Another bad news here is this game was for kids about 4 to 12 years old, and probably we all know that without proper guidance these kids can’t raise those so called price from this palabunutan.
In my own experience we can’t simply judge kids who raise baby chickens and ducks but as I notice even now not all the kids can raise nor care well with their pets specially baby chickens and ducklings. Because in my own eyes I actually saw some of them playing with their chicks and ducks juggling, slapping, and putting into plastic bags, bottles etc. considering these living things as their toys to the point that those innocent animals turn into death.
I and my sister actually have our own baby chicken when we were in grade school mine is yellow and to my youngest sister is red, as day passing by the chicken grows well. One morning my sisters so much disappointed seeing her chicken becomes yellow, she blame me thinking that swap I it with mine but my father explains it to her that the red dye actually fades in time the chicks are supposed to be yellow, while she saw mine having the same colour we end up laughing at it together.
We were so much happy having this pet. But this nightmare come to both of us, point in time come that my father took it from us and cook it for adobo. My father explains that chicken was meant to die if he will not kill it for our food we might not get too used at it and will die sooner as it grows old, in that time I and my sister attached in our pets. We hardly accept the fact that it has to be killed as it grows old and sooner it will die. My heart bruises while I saw my father eating my pet. As I grow older I understand that chicken was meant to be our food so I decided not to pet one.
My sympathy to those living things, every time I saw “palabunutan” few questions come in my mind. Do they deserve to be in that way? Do they need to suffer to death in the hands of innocent children? And the fact that they put colour in those chicks it’s so inhumane they suffer just to attract children to use them as their toys. It is enough that those animals provide us human the daily food we need to live? This questions leaves in my head blank.
I know I can’t do anything about this; all I can do is to talk to children every time I saw holding their pet from palabunutan. I really can’t blame them they are just kids, And for now I don’t talk to the trader of those “palabunutan” because when I try to talk to one he gets angry with me and told me that mind my own business.
Are we really living for ourselves? Aren’t we sometimes can think we are being selfish busy making money without noticing that we are doing harm to others? Oh well I am not perfect but at least I have this heart for Innocent animals. And yet I still believe that the world is not just for us Humans. Every living thing has its rights in this world that God provide us and every right associated with responsibility.
A Rumor That Facebook is Shutting Down on March 15 2011
A lot of people across the cyber-world were wondering with this rumor spreading all over the cyberspace from twitter, Facebook, BlogSpot, Word-press etc.
I actually think of this over a year ago... that facebook will reach its ending and all of us will be upset... because some of so called fb addicts out there possibly don’t have any back up of their files here in facebook... I am referring to pictures. Luckily I have mine ;).
I essentially think that time will come that facebook will sell our own files to us when they have to close their business... funny huh? I used to think websites even social networking was built to earn profit. ;)) Actually its true... but preferably not by taking money within our pocket, they earn profit by means of advertisement.
on other the hand websites was such a huge help to everyone... wherein we are able to connect, share and research everything ;) ....
And for now Facebook is not Shutting Down on March 15 2011. It was just a humor/myth and apparently not true. So let us all enjoy it while it’s there. ;)
A printscreen from facebook fanpage to confirm that facebook aren't closing their business.
Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it.
Every New Year people make resolutions to change aspects of them. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. Many believe that New Year is a great time to start a new life that’s why “new year resolutions are made.
But my beliefs have change in my own experiences in my life. Every time year ends I started to reminisce the hours, days, and months of my year and be thankful for all the things that happened to me whether it’s good or bad, because my mom told me that everything happen has its own reason.
Since I was a child I start to live in very simple yet happy life with my traditional and complete family, no extensions and whatsoever. And I think that was one of the great things I have in my life. Then I've met Andy my partner in everything and I think he's almost perfect not exactly, but he always treat me that I am the most beautiful girl in the world. I feel so blessed having my family and my partner. I love them the most.
When I graduated in college I am very thankful having a job and I know this will benefit my family a lot and it really helps. My first and probably my last job was such a huge help for what I become right now. It was my training ground and I really appreciate it.
But as time pass me by without a job while managing and enjoying my small business. I’m starting to think that leaving my job was one of the best things that happened to me in a long time, I can’t believe I’m saying this… because everything is so much simpler and clearer now. I don’t have to worry and be stressed about my clients or my performance at work. No more brown-nosing like a dog to a boss who works a fraction of the hours. No more drama every time my boss nags me or my officemates gossip about me. I do and earn two times as much. Now that I’m not constantly preoccupied and stressed by work, I’m happy and it’s for real. I feel like myself again. I actually have time to think about everything and what I really want to do with my life.
Every time the year ends I don’t really list down any New Year resolutions, because I do set goals even if it’s not New Year. And I am looking forward optimistically for a great year round.
Because life doesn’t have to be complicated but still we have to keep going and move forward for a better life or should I say a happy life, because it is not only the destination that matters but also its own journey. For our life is a big canvass and we should throw all the paint on it, what colours will I choose to paint in my canvass? Only I myself can answer.
A parent’s love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish, and enduring come what may, For nothing can destroys it or take that love away.
Parents make great sacrifices for the care of their children. Day after day, parents protect their children from danger, attend to their cries, and reassure them after a bad dream. Parents give up necessities for their children every day.
It is patience and forgiving while others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking It believes beyond believing when world around condemns And it glows among the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation,
And it still remain a secret, like the mystery of creation, A many splendored miracle man cannot understand, And Special Wondrous evidence of Life’s tender guiding hand.
A video clip that touches my heart… An open letter from parents to their children
I cried looking back at all the people that was so dear to me. It is an excellent reminder to everyone, children, grandchildren and grand-grand children. It’s all about life, love, care and understanding of our elders especially when they are growing old.
So I decided to shared this with my blog and social networking site and believe the young should realize that they also will be old one day. I extent a little effort to retype the letter you can read it below ;) Click the image to enlarge...
